1. Identification
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Medita México app and the website www.meditamexico.org, which is run and owned by FUNDACIÓN MEDITA MEXICO, A.C. (we’ll call it “FMM” from here on). FMM is located at Periférico Sur 3325, 3rd Floor, San Jerónimo Lídice neighborhood, Magdalena Contreras, C.P. 10200, Mexico City. 2. Purpose.
These Terms and Conditions set out the general rules for using and signing up for the Medita México app and the website www.meditamexico.org (we’ll refer to them as the “App” or “Platform”). This includes all the content and services available to users (we’ll call you “User” or, if it fits, “Users”) through the Platform. Just a heads-up: some content and services might come with their own specific rules.
If something isn’t clearly covered in these Terms and Conditions, it’ll be up to FMM to decide, but we still have to follow the laws that are in place.
Also, FMM reserves the right to make changes and/or updates to these Terms and Conditions, and you’ll be notified beforehand to either accept or reject them if they’re significant. If you keep using the App, we’ll take that as you agreeing to any changes or updates.
Using the App means you’re expressly and unreservedly accepting these Terms and Conditions, which are just as valid and effective as any written and signed contract. So, if you don’t agree with these Terms and Conditions, we suggest you don’t use the App.
3. Platform Services.
The Platform offers the following features:
Access to guided meditation audio for registered users through various options and programs, including but not limited to:
RECOGNITIONS PROGRAM
This program certifies you as an advanced meditator. It’s backed by Synchronicity USA and the teachings of Master Charles Canon. The Recognitions Program consists of 8 phases, each lasting 6 months, and you need to complete one phase before moving on to the next. In the Recognitions Program, you’ll find 3 meditation audio tracks, a user manual, affirmations, lessons, and a mentor who will support you in monthly virtual sessions.
Lifefullness Membership
Our Lifefullness programs are specifically designed for different segments: Education (schools at all levels), Health (hospitals), and Work and Wellness (companies). When a school, company, or hospital purchases a Lifefullness membership for its members, users can enjoy guided meditation audios tailored to their segment. The duration of the membership directly depends on the contract period established with the school, hospital, or company.
Free Guided Meditations
All users can access guided meditation audios ranging from 3 to 30 minutes in length.
HIGH-TECH AUDIO FOR MEDITATION
Users can purchase different albums of High-Tech Meditation from Synchronicity. Once the audio is bought, it will be stored in the app and can be played as many times as you want. The audios are divided into Alpha and Theta technology.
4. User Registration and Cancellation.
Downloading the app and accessing the registration are completely free. Users can sign up by visiting the website (www.meditamexico.org) and following the installation links for each store (Android, iOS). Once the app is installed, users need to complete the registration process by providing their full name, email, age, and gender. If you have a Lifefullness program, you’ll need to select the program, level, and enter the access code, and agree to the terms and conditions of the service.
When registering, you’ll need to read and explicitly accept the Privacy Notice beforehand. You also need to provide FMM with any other real and accurate information requested through the forms available in the mobile app, so that FMM can provide services correctly and, if necessary, contact you. As stated in these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Notice, your user account is personal and non-transferable.
At any time, you can request to cancel your account in the app by going to the profile menu and clicking the “User Cancellation” button. You can also do this by sending a written request to contacto@meditamexico.org, including your username and the specific service you want to cancel. If you want to stop receiving our email notifications, you can do that through the same email address or via the unsubscribe link in all the emails you receive from us. If you have an active paid subscription, you’ll need to cancel it using the subscription mechanism provided by your app store (on iOS or Android).
In any case, you can request a new registration, but FMM may not accept that registration if the user has violated any of these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Notice, or has acted against the law, morals, or public order. FMM may also deny the registration in case of any conflict or dispute between the parties that is still unresolved, or if it has ended with an acknowledgment of wrongdoing or fault on the part of the user and/or harm to FMM, its collaborators, or its users, clients, or potential clients.
5. Electronic Contracting.
In accordance with the provisions of the Commercial Code, the Federal Civil Code, the Federal Code of Civil Procedure, and the Federal Consumer Protection Law, as well as other applicable regulations, contracts made electronically will have all the effects provided by law when there is consent and all other necessary requirements for their validity. To contract our services, you must be of legal age, depending on the jurisdiction of your country.
In any case, the electronic record of the contract made online will be accepted as documentary evidence in case of a dispute between the parties. These Terms and Conditions are available to all users at the following link, free and permanently. Also, in accordance with applicable regulations, all information related to the contracting process will be provided to users before starting the procedure.
For these purposes, it will be understood that following all phases of the purchasing process, and if applicable, paying the corresponding amount, necessarily implies granting the required consent for the contract. Access to the contracting process is completely free, with no additional costs besides those related to the user’s internet connection.
All content, features, and subscriptions are clearly described in their respective descriptions available to users, excluding anything that hasn’t been specifically mentioned.
6.Contracting Procedure.
The contracting procedure for content, features, or subscriptions is done electronically through the Platform. Anyone with internet access can engage in the contracting process, with part of the products offered being publicly accessible through the Platform. Certain content and mere access to the Platform will be free.
Here’s the complete process that all users must follow to acquire any of the content, features, or subscriptions:
- FREE REGISTRATION
- Download the App and register your user/account.
- Access the guided meditation audios in the “Guided Meditations” section.
- LIFEFULLNESS MEMBERSHIP (for schools, hospitals, and companies)
- Download the App.
- Select the “I have a program” field and register your user using the code provided by your company/hospital/school.
- Access the guided meditation audios in the “Guided Meditations” section and the Lifefullness guided meditations in the “Lifefullness” section.
- PURCHASE AUDIOS
- Access the App with a free user account.
- Choose the ATM audio you want to download. You can listen to up to 1 minute of each audio to preview it.
- Add it to your cart if you want to keep shopping, or choose “pay” to go directly to payment.
- Add a payment method.
- If you don’t have a credit card registered on your device, you may need to enter it on the Apple, Google Pay, or Amazon Pay platform.
- Enjoy your ATM audio.
- PURCHASE RECOGNITIONS PROGRAM
- Access the App with a free user account.
- Choose the phase of the Recognitions Program you want to purchase.
- Add it to your cart if you want to keep shopping, or choose “pay” to go directly to payment.
- Add a payment method.
- If you don’t have a credit card registered on your device, you may need to enter it on the Apple, Google Pay, or Amazon Pay platform.
- Enjoy all the RP content.
7.Prices.
Prices will be shown in Mexican pesos as the main currency. However, for users in other countries, prices may appear in dollars or another currency, with potential modifications in price due to currency exchange rates. The currency will always be displayed on the screen. The prices for content, features, and subscriptions will be shown on the Platform. Prices may change over time, but these changes will not affect any purchase of content, features, or subscriptions that the user has made and confirmed by FMM prior to the effective date of each subscription. The total price specified in the final purchase process for content or subscriptions includes taxes. Notwithstanding the above, FMM informs the user that in the case of a clear error in the price of any content, feature, or subscription, FMM may cancel the purchase as long as it hasn’t been confirmed.
Once the user has placed an order and paid the corresponding amount through any of the payment methods provided by FMM, the user will receive an email containing all the information related to the purchased content, features, or subscriptions, including the unit price, applicable taxes, and the total purchase price.
The user is informed that payment for the acquisition of content, subscriptions, and features will be processed through a platform provided by an external entity, which will always be secured with SSL protocol.
In any case, the contract will only be effective when FMM receives confirmation of payment from the owner of the secure payment gateway. If the transaction is rejected for any reason by that entity, the purchase will be suspended, and the user will be informed of this circumstance.
At no point during the purchasing process will FMM have access to payment data, as this information is digitized directly in the payment gateway (with security systems that prevent interception, modification, or falsification of the information). No computer file of FMM contains or retains such data. Therefore, FMM cannot be held responsible for any fraudulent or improper use of this payment information by third parties.
Only one free trial period can be enjoyed per registered account.
7.1 Donations
All purchases are handled as donations, which are intended to bring wellness programs to schools, hospitals, and low-income communities in Mexico. There are several ways to support the cause, either by making purchases or direct donations as follows:

All content purchased through the app is considered a donation, so all users are given the option to request a tax-deductible invoice. For support, you can contact contact@meditamexico.org.
- ON THE PLATFORM
3 Ways to Make a Donation on the Platform:
- On the website, there is a “Make a Donation” button, which, when clicked, redirects to the cart where the user can choose the donation amount and indicate if it is recurring, and then add their bank details.
- Purchase ATM audios or merchandise items. Similarly, all users are given the option to request a tax-deductible invoice. For support, you can contact contact@meditamexico.org.
- In the cart, where you proceed to pay for ATM or merchandise, there is an option to add a donation amount before finalizing the payment.
8. Intellectual Property, Industrial Property, and Image Rights.
FMM owns, or has the corresponding licenses for, the intellectual property, industrial property, image rights, or any similar rights related to the Platform, as well as all the content offered therein. This includes, but is not limited to, audios, videos, photographs, illustrations, logos, trademarks, designs, interfaces, or any other information or content included in the Platform.
You are granted ONLY A NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHT TO USE the Platform strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes and solely for accessing the Platform’s content. Any unauthorized use by any user will be grounds for account termination, and FMM reserves the right to take any legal action as necessary.
Furthermore, by using, posting, or including content in your profile, the User grants FMM a non-exclusive, worldwide license for the maximum period allowed by applicable law. This license covers reproduction, distribution, public communication (including making content available), and transformation of the content.

10. Links.
If the Platform displays links to web pages through various buttons, links, banners, etc., FMM informs you that these are directly managed by third parties. FMM cannot control or approve all the information contained on other platforms that may be linked from the Platform. Consequently, FMM assumes no responsibility for any aspect related to those platforms or web pages.
In any case, these links will not imply the existence of any type of relationship, collaboration, or dependency between FMM and the person responsible for the external application or website. If you become aware that activities conducted on these third-party web pages are illegal, immoral, and/or contrary to public order, you must immediately notify FMM so that it can proceed to disable the corresponding link.
11. Responsibilities of FMM.
FMM commits to ensuring that the content, data, and information related to the services offered through the Platform are reliable, truthful, and accurate. However, it will not be responsible for any information introduced, displayed, or modified by third parties outside of FMM. Therefore, the Platform excludes any responsibility for damages that may arise from information and/or services provided by third parties other than the Platform.
Additionally, FMM states that it has taken all necessary measures, within its capabilities and technical advancements, to ensure the functioning of the Platform and to minimize system errors, both from a technical and content perspective.
However, FMM will not be held responsible for any unavailability of the Platform or the inability to contract services when such circumstances are beyond FMM’s control, such as force majeure or errors in the contracting process or data provided by the User. In such cases, FMM will contact you to find the best possible solution.
FMM will make every commercially and technically feasible effort to keep the services offered through the Platform available. However, this obligation will not apply in cases of:
Temporary inactivity of the Platform due to updates and/or technical maintenance, which will be announced in advance on the Platform with a maximum notice of 48 hours, provided that these circumstances are known or communicated to FMM with sufficient notice.
Causes beyond FMM’s control: force majeure, Internet access issues, technological problems beyond the reasonable and diligent management of the Platform owner, actions or omissions by third parties, etc.
In all cases beyond FMM’s control and diligent management, there will be no compensation from FMM to the User for loss of profit, damages, or harm.
In the event of the closure or suspension of the Platform for reasons unrelated to the actions of the parties, you will be promptly informed about the relocation of the service to a new domain, with only the domain-related stipulations of this agreement being modified to reflect the new active domain.
FMM is not directed, designed or in any way oriented to diagnose or treat any type of physical condition or disease, nor to declare the state of your health or to be a substitute for professional medical treatment. In the event that you suffer from any pathology or illness, FMM recommends that you go to a health professional.
12. Suspension of the Platform.
FMM reserves the right to suspend, modify, restrict, or interrupt access to the Platform at any time, with or without prior notice to users who violate the Terms of Use, without any right to compensation.
13. Rules of Use.
Access to or use of the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes, with or without economic intent, is strictly prohibited. You will be solely responsible for any such actions. In particular, and without this list being exhaustive or limiting, the following actions are prohibited:
Using the Platform in any way that could cause damage, interruptions, inefficiencies, or defects in its operation or to another person’s computer.
Using the Platform for the transmission, installation, or publication of any viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, malicious code, or other harmful programs or files.
Using the Platform to transmit material for advertising or promotional purposes, including spam, chain emails, or similar.
Using the Platform in a way that infringes the rights of FMM or any third party.
Using the Platform to transmit or publish any defamatory, offensive, racist, denigrating, threatening material, or any material that could cause annoyance to another user.
Using the Platform to collect personal data from other users.
Using the Platform in an illegal manner, contrary to good faith, morality, and/or public order.
Accessing or registering through the Platform with a false identity, impersonating others, using someone else’s profile, or doing anything that could confuse other Users about the identity or origin of a message.
Accessing any section of the Platform without authorization, accessing other systems or networks connected to it, any FMM server, or the services offered through the Platform by hacking, password extraction, or any other illegitimate means.
Carrying out any action that causes a disproportionate or unnecessary overload on the Platform’s infrastructure or on FMM’s systems or networks, as well as on systems and networks connected to the Platform.
Disrupting the normal flow of any event, promotion, or other activity available through the Platform or any of its features, either by illegally or otherwise altering access, participation, or operation, falsifying results, and/or using fraudulent participation methods by any means, and/or through any practice that violates these General Terms of Use.
Failure to comply with any of these obligations could lead FMM to take the appropriate measures within the law and in the exercise of its rights or obligations, which could include deleting or blocking the account of the violating User, without any possibility of compensation for damages caused.
14. User Responsibility.
You must always respect the terms and conditions set forth in these Terms of Use. You expressly acknowledge that you will use the platform responsibly and will assume any responsibility that may arise from not following the rules. Also, using the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes, whether for financial gain or not, is not allowed. Neither the services offered nor the information on the Platform can be used for commercial or advertising purposes without prior authorization from FMM.
Additionally, you are responsible for any communication you provide to FMM. This responsibility includes ensuring the accuracy, legality, originality, and ownership of such communication, and you must keep FMM free from any liability. If you become aware of any illegal content, content against the law, or something that may violate third-party rights, you must notify FMM immediately so that the necessary measures can be taken.
If you engage in any action that could be considered illegal, unlawful, against the law, or that may infringe or violate the rights of others, you do so at your own risk and must keep FMM free from liability for your actions.
15. Devices and Systems.
To use the Platform, the User must have an Internet connection and the necessary devices and equipment.
The Platform requires Internet access, and the User is responsible for all associated costs, including data traffic charges, regardless of where the User uses the Platform.
The current version of the Medita México App is available for IOS and ANDROID operating systems. Each platform specifies the system and operational requirements to download the App.
.16. Interpretation
All clauses or parts of this contract should be interpreted independently and separately, so the rest of the terms will not be affected if one of them is declared void by a court ruling or arbitration decision. Any clause affected will be replaced by another that maintains the intended effects of the Platform’s Terms of Use.
17. Dispute Resolution.
For any legal matters related to this Platform or its dependencies, and as long as the law allows, Mexican law in force at the time of the dispute will apply. The courts of Mexico City, Mexico, will have jurisdiction to resolve all conflicts related to the use of the Platform.
