These Terms and Conditions apply to any transaction and use of the website www.meditamexico.org, which is operated by the legal entity FUNDACIÓN MEDITA MÉXICO, A.C. (from here on, FMM)

SHIPPING OF PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

Orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours after your purchase, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. If you place your order on a non-business day, the processing time will start from the next business day. Once your order is processed, you’ll get a confirmation email with the details of your purchase.

You, as the customer, are responsible for tracking your package using the tracking information provided by the shipping company, either online or over the phone.

Delivery times are generally flexible from Monday to Friday on business days, and someone must be available to receive the package. If no one is there, it’s up to you to contact the shipping company to arrange the delivery.

Delivery takes about 5 to 7 business days to homes in Mexico City and up to 10 business days for extended areas within Mexico. For international shipping, the estimated delivery time is up to 15 business days.

Keep in mind that delivery times are not guaranteed, as there could be issues beyond FMM’s control, like delays due to high demand, weather conditions, road accidents, or unforeseen circumstances

Shipping costs throughout Mexico are $200.00 MXN for orders under $500.00 MXN. If your order exceeds $2,000.00 MXN, shipping is free.

International shipping costs range from $300.00 to $800.00 MXN

If an order is returned to us due to regulations, the customer will only be refunded the amount paid for the products, and shipping costs will not be refunded.

It’s the customer’s responsibility to track the delivery of their order. If any issues arise, please notify us at contacto@meditamexico.org. It’s also up to the customer to ensure that their information is accurate and complete when placing an order, including their name, street address, exterior and interior number, postal code, neighborhood, phone number, and email. FMM is not responsible for any costs incurred from providing incorrect information.

For international shipments, any customs fees and/or taxes will be the customer’s responsibility, and it’s up to them to provide any documents requested by the authorities.

When placing an international order, we’ll send the customer an email to confirm the shipment. Customs in some countries charge taxes that we can’t calculate at the time of purchase, and these taxes can range from 60% to 80% of the total order value, including the cost of the merchandise and shipping. If we don’t receive confirmation within the first 3 business days, the order will be canceled and refunded. For more information, we suggest contacting your country’s customs authority or a local shipping office.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If you receive a defective item or a product that is different from your original order, please notify us at contacto@meditamexico.org within 7 days of receiving the product. Otherwise, exchanges cannot be made.

Please note that for any defective or incorrect item, you’ll need to include a photo proof in the email sent to contacto@meditamexico.org. Make sure to add your order number and detail the situation so we can proceed with a replacement at no extra cost. Any approved exchanges or refunds will be processed within a maximum of 15 business days from the confirmation of the exchange or refund by FMM.

FMM is not responsible for any damages caused by mishandling of the package by the shipping company (issues with delivery, delays, or damages are the responsibility of the shipping operator), but we will do our best to protect all items being shipped.

In the case of theft, loss, or damage to the package by the shipping company, we will file a report and FMM commits to follow up on this with the customer. The timeline for resolution cannot be specified as it fully depends on the shipping company..

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

There are no returns, only exchanges (exchanges are only for size, not for model)..

* Discounted products are not eligible for exchanges.

Once an order is placed on www.meditamexico.org, we cannot make any size or model changes. If you need to change something, please send an email to contacto@meditamexico.org requesting the cancellation of the order so you can place a new one, unless your order has already been shipped.

To initiate an exchange, you need to notify us at contacto@meditamexico.org with an email detailing your order number, model, and size to confirm the item is available. If you don’t receive a confirmation email from FMM, we won’t be able to process your exchange request.

If your exchange is authorized via the email you send, the merchandise must be sent back unused with tags still attached, within the timeframe specified in the authorization email.

Inside your package, you need to include a printed copy of the authorization email confirming the exchange. It’s really important to include your order number in the package for identification once it arrives at our facilities.

Customers will need to arrange shipping with any courier of their choice. The shipping cost to FMM will be the customer’s responsibility.

Once we receive the package, we will check the items and send you the exchange within 15 business days.

FMM is not responsible for exchanges sent without prior authorization and confirmation of availability. If the package does not meet the specified requirements, the merchandise will be refunded to the customer, unless the items are not in good condition (according to our quality standards).

If the merchandise for exchange is not sent within the specified timeframe given in the authorization email, FMM will not be responsible for not having the requested item available upon receipt. In that case, the value of the item will be refunded.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS (Only for defective physical products)

If you want to cancel your order, send an email to contacto@meditamexico.org to have it canceled, as long as the product hasn’t been shipped.

Please include your 10-digit bank account number.

It’s important to send all the correct information. FMM is not responsible if the information provided is incorrect.

If a refund is applicable, it will be processed within 2 to 5 business days.

PRICES.

FMM reserves the right to change product prices without prior notice. All our products will be charged in Mexican pesos, and FMM has no control over the exchange rate your bank applies.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All material on the FMM site, including text, designs, graphics, or files, is owned exclusively by FMM, and it is prohibited to reproduce any of this material, in whole or in part.
